Photo tips…

Good ol’ Folly beach! M & D gave me an informative engagement session on a fall evening. These are the lessons learned: (1) ALWAYS bring champagne. It is worth the moment of pure fun between you two. (2) Consider checking the wind direction prior to opening the bottle. This sweet couple was doused in the explosion that came from their champagne, causing us all to laugh uncontrollably! (3) Glass stems break for the weirdest reasons. Poor D had to avoid a hand slicing, but it sure did make the smiles wider and laughs deeper during their portraits. (4) Continue to LIVE! Remember that these photographs are not to show you as perfect humans, but to capture you in this current moment. Remember that the hiccups usually create your favorite photos. So lean into it, LIVE in the moment! I can’t wait to capture their wedding this upcoming fall, and capture more of their laughter.
