The only time a pair of hearts…

K&J asked to capture their engagement in the heart of Downtown Charleston. Having their first date in one of the Downtown bars, it felt fitting to visit a local spot and get out of the summer heat. It was at their first date that K learned J comes from a family line of magicians! K was going to bring a deck of cards to the second date to be funny, but decided against it. They met for pizza, and after ordering J whipped out a deck of cards, and it became tradition to pack a deck of cards with them wherever they go. They assured me this was not because they are magic freaks, but really like a good competitive game of rummy, Egyptian rat screw, dutch blitz, etc. I had such a great time sipping cocktails and photographing their engagement. I truly look forward to their wedding next June!
