Claire & Jake Wedding
To living life…
C’s pup, Mahalo, gave us not only joy throughout their wedding day, but he also provided a mindset. During the Mother of the Bride’s toast, she explained mahalo is a Hawaiian phrase meaning “gratitude”. She asked for the rest of the night if any cheers were to be given, take a moment and instead say “mahalo” to show gratitude for health, the beautiful weather, the ability to love, and for the family all were surrounded by. It was a touching sentiment. Although we are excited to show expressions of love for a couple’s future after the wedding, let’s show gratitude for the day we are living and soak it in. I always want to hold on to mahalo.
…with mahalo.
