B & A Brewery Engagements

In the pursuit….

I first met brooke when I was a sophomore at a new high school. She instantly drew me in with her laid back demeanor and sweet smile. We somehow became bonded within that first week and were glued at the hip. After graduation time speeds up, we went years without seeing each other or texting. The last time I saw Brooke in person was graduation night, until she told me she had recently gotten engaged and was coming to Charleston with her man, Andrew. 8 years apart suddenly felt like 8 minutes apart. We went to Palmetto Brewery for some beers as they told me of their love story. How they met and how Andrew proposed at the peak of a mountain in Pennsylvania, how we all are obsessed with breweries, the odd fact that we both named our dogs Nova at the same time with no contact of the matter; were all part of our conversations. It’s funny how time can add experience, but it doesn’t have to diminish a relationship. That is only in the hands of you.
